In this section I will endeavour to include some basic tactics that have been successful for me over the years. As you can imagine, having so many friends in the trade, new and exciting methods, tackle and bait are being developed all the time. I will take you along the journey with me and share the best methods that have worked for me.
Top Tip: Get the Link during the colder months!!!
If there is one product that I have supreme confidence in, it is my choice of bait. During these colder months I change from my ever faithful Cell to the Link, both by Mainline.
This quality bait has a more fishy smell and attractants, and really comes into its own at this time of year. A variety of hook bait choices, and bait sizes complete my attack. One particular good tip is to combine the response pellet in Link flavour with the New Smart Liquid, my choice is the Fish flavour. I feel this flavour combines well with the unique flavour and smell of the Link.
